Dans le cadre du projet « Handicap Enfants I » développé par Enfance de Bam, un partenariat a été noué avec la classe de 5ème du Collège Assomption de Cogolin (Var).

The earthquake in Bam has almost completely destroyed the town. 85% of the houses, schools, shops, medical and administrative buildings of the town have collapsed, costing the life to 42 000 people, according to official estimates.
This tragedy has also affected children since 5204 of them have lost their parents. Among them, 4 000 orphans has no relatives left anymore. These children have been taken in charge by the organisation “Behzisty” which brought them partly to Kerman orphanages.
Many children have also been wounded at the time of the earthquake, and some of them had to have their arm or leg amputated. The material and financial conditions being difficult for some of them, Enfance de Bam has decided to help the most penniless. This help will come as a financial support for three years, so that these children can benefits from good-quality prosthesis and a regular medical follow-up.
